In addition to a career that has spanned two decades in the Nigerian entertainment industry, her credits cut across the stage, television, and film and print.

Doyle’s acting CV also includes the critical darling The Arbitration and The Wedding Party, which is the highest-grossing Nigerian film in Nigerian cinema history (as of February 2017). Both films screened at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival as part of the city to the city spotlight. Others include Dinner and Madam President. She played alongside RMD, Banky W, Adesua Etomi among many others more. She featured in The Wedding Party 1 and 2. It was an Award-winning movie.

In addition to that, Doyle was declared Best Actress in a lead role at the GIAMA Awards in Houston Texas in 2013.  Apart from that, she was the Best Actress in a lead role at the 2014 Nollywood Movie Awards for her portrayal of Ovo, in the psychological thriller Torn. This performance also earned her an African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2015.

Most recently she has been nominated at the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards in the Best Actress In A Leading Role category. It was for her portrayal of Dr. Elizabeth in Ebony Life Films’ blockbuster 2015 hit; FIFTY.

She is married to Patrick Doyle and has six children. Ireti has a daughter, Ngozikachi Abimbola Ozofor, born when she was 17 years old. She also has another daughter she bore for her husband Patrick Doyle. Abimbola is a consultant at the Ruff n Tumble clothing store and owner of Kachi hair products. Abimbola Ozofor got married to her heartthrob, Kelechi in 2014.

Ireti gave her daughter away in July 2014. Starting with a court wedding that took place at the Ikoyi Registry Lagos Nigeria on July 12 and this was followed by a traditional wedding. The traditional wedding was well attended by celebrities close to Ireti Doyle. The bride looked stunning in her beautifully sewn traditional attire depicting both the Yoruba and the Igbo culture as she married an Igbo man. In attendance were several high profile guests among which are Kemi Lala, Monalisa Chinda, Linda Ejiofor, Paul Adams Paul and several others.

Doyle is still a creative writer. She has taken part in writing several screenplays that credit her. The famous Amaka Igwe movie “Tempest” was written by her. The Wedding party was her best-accomplished film.

Once in 2017, Ireti was rumored to have packed her bags and left for her own home. It was alleged that Patrick took their marriage for granted. The rumors appear to be true. Patrick took his time to share a lengthy post on Facebook. This was to thank his wife for welcoming him back home. He did not stop praising her. Apart from that, he also appreciated all the ladies including his late mother and late sister. She praised all great ladies. The 15-year-old marriage has given the couple 6 children.
