Austin Gamez Suspects

Two men named Thomas Lanham and Larry Sauer are the suspects of Austin Gamez.

However, prosecutors withdrew the case against Larry Sauer, 35, who was arrested in December for the deaths of Austin Gamez and Teressa McCoy, according to WDRB.

In 2017, officials discovered McCoy’s body in an SUV in the parking lot of Bessler Auto Parts on Strawberry Lane, but they have yet to find Gamez’s body.

Prosecutors had accused Sauer of murder and tampering with evidence, but the charges were dismissed on Feb. 21 after a DNA analysis report on Gamez was misinterpreted.

In one case, Sauer has been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. Thomas Lanham, another suspect in the crime, was also apprehended. Last month, the charges against him were withdrawn.
