Stephen Sondheim and his musical, “Passion” at the Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre in Chicago, Illinois was awarded the 2014 Joseph Jefferson Non-Equity Award for Musical Production.


He was nominated for a 2006 Joseph Jefferson Award for Director of a Musical for “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Spelling Bee Chicago Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.


He was nominated for a 2002 Antoinette Perry (Tony) Award for Best Director of a Musical for “Into The Woods” on Broadway in New York City.


With Stephen Sondheim, their musical _Passion (1996/I) (TV)_ was awarded the best musical at the 1996 London Evening Standard Theatre Award.
